01Terms of use

You may use the Site for lawful, personal and business purposes. You agree not to:

• use the Site in a way that breaks any law or regulation;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape at scale, probe or gain unauthorized access to the Site or its hosting;
• send spam, malware or abusive messages through any contact address listed on the Site;
• misrepresent your identity or your affiliation with any person or organization when contacting us.

The Site includes optional interactive features (such as slicing text and a fruit game). They are provided for entertainment only, have no monetary value, and scores are stored only in your own browser.

02Domain sales & offers

Domains shown on the Site are owned or managed by founded.lol. Showing a domain is an invitation to start a conversation, not an offer to sell and not a guarantee that a domain is available.

• Offers are non-binding. Any offer or inquiry you send, and any reply from us, is non-binding until both parties sign a written agreement and payment is received in full.
• Availability and pricing can change at any time without notice, and we may accept or decline any offer for any reason.
• Payment and transfer are handled through a reputable escrow service or registrar marketplace agreed in writing. Ownership passes only after cleared payment and completion of the registrar transfer.
• Fees. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, the buyer pays escrow fees, registrar transfer fees and all future renewal fees.
• As-is. Domains are sold as-is. We make no promise about traffic, search ranking, prior use, or suitability for any purpose.
• Your responsibility. The buyer is responsible for making sure their use of a domain does not infringe anyone’s trademarks or other rights and complies with the registry’s and registrar’s policies.

03Portfolio management

founded.lol also manages domain portfolios for others. Any management service is provided only under a separate written agreement that sets out scope, fees and responsibilities. Nothing on the Site creates a client relationship, agency, partnership or fiduciary duty, and nothing on the Site is legal, tax or financial advice.

Figures describing the size of the portfolio we hold or manage are approximate and may change over time.

04Intellectual property

The Site’s design, text, graphics and code are owned by founded.lol or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may view and share links to the Site, but you may not copy, republish or create derivative works from substantial parts of it without written permission.

Third-party names, trademarks and logos that may be mentioned belong to their respective owners. Their mention does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by those owners.

05Trademark & rights concerns

We respect the rights of others. If you believe a domain we hold or any content on the Site infringes your trademark, copyright or other rights, email msg@founded.lol with:

• your name and contact details;
• the right you claim (for example, a trademark registration number and jurisdiction);
• the domain or content concerned and why you believe it infringes;
• a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them.

We will review every good-faith notice and respond within a reasonable time.

06Privacy policy

We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run a simple website.

What we do not do

• No user accounts, no analytics or tracking scripts, no advertising, and no tracking cookies.
• We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.

Information stored on your device

Your settings (such as dark mode, sound or the fruit game) and your best game score are saved in your browser’s local storage so they are remembered next time. This data stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

Information you send us

If you email us, we receive your email address, name (if provided) and anything you include, such as an offer amount. We use it only to reply, to negotiate and complete any transaction, and to keep business records. We keep correspondence for as long as needed for those purposes and any legal or tax obligations, then delete it.

Service providers

• Hosting. Our hosting provider may automatically log technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and reliability.
• Fonts. The Site loads typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address. See Google’s privacy policy for how Google handles that data.
• Email. Messages to msg@founded.lol are handled by our email provider.
• Transactions. If you buy a domain, the escrow service and registrars involved receive the details needed to complete the transfer.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email msg@founded.lol. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases are your consent, steps taken at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in running and securing the Site. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

The Site is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age where you live), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Security and international transfers

We use reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Our service providers may process data in countries other than yours.

07Third-party links

The Site may link to other websites, including other domains in the portfolio and services such as escrow providers. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of third-party sites.

08Disclaimers

The Site and everything on it are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components, or that any information on it is complete or current.

09Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, founded.lol will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to one hundred US dollars (US$100). Liability relating to a completed domain sale is governed only by the written agreement for that sale. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

10Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold founded.lol harmless from any claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or your breach of these terms.

11Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which founded.lol’s operator is based, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before starting any formal proceeding, both parties agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by email for at least 30 days. Nothing here limits any consumer protection rights you have under the law of the place where you live. Domain name disputes may also be subject to the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP) or the registry’s own dispute policy.

12Changes & general terms

We may update this page from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed, and continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it. These terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site, except where a separate written agreement applies.
